A decision on whether or not Jacob Zuma will be prosecuted has reportedly been delayed by an extended game of Monopoly. Lawyers for the National Prosecuting Authority confirmed that Zuma had brought the game to negotiations as he believed that the 'Get out of jail free' cards were legitimate legal documents. "It's really awkward", said one.

According to NPA spokesman Impotent Vilakazi, Zuma had produced the game at last night's meeting, demanding that his lawyers explain why they had not informed him of "the Monopoly Defence".

"His lawyers tried to explain that Monopoly is a board game and not in fact a legally binding series of financial transactions," said Vilakazi.

"In the end they suggested we all play a game to show Mr Zuma how it worked."

He said that the game was still underway.
