Heinrich Brüssow's fetching skills and Frans Steyn's boot have given the British and Irish Lions coaches reasons to be worried, ahead of choosing their team for the first Test.
"We have already spoken about the threat from Frans with his long distance drop kicks," said the Lions' kicking coach Neil Jenkins.
"It will be very difficult in the course of the match to stop him from trying to score points in this way."
The Lions are planning to put Steyn under pressure by taking advantage of the fact that it has been a while since he played fullback.
"Frans is an excellent player. We are trying to get visual footage of him when he last played fullback for the Sharks in the Super 14 in 2008," Jenkins added.
